Some more of what we do!!

Pyrolosis
Our pyrolosis service ensures the safe removal of – for example – plastic and paint coatings from specialist plant and equipment, and from other forms of machinery, too. The process involves the burning off of unwanted residue from the item(s) whilst maintaining the integrity of the original structure, thus enabling the asset to be used multiple times over.

Inspection & Testing
With a plethora of coating inspection testing equipment, including but not limited to, environmental monitoring, surface profile analysis, soluble salt testing, tests for dust and other like contaminants, surface profile, film thickness, porosity & adhesion testing, our Institute of Corrosion accredited inspectors can be relied upon to ensure that any external or outside criteria is adhered to throughout the life of a project, nowithstanding that they are also available for general advice and guidance, too.

Non-Destructive Testing
** COMING SOON **
Our Institute of Corrosion Inspectors are busy learning new skills. In the coming months, therefore, we hope to be in a position to offer non-destructive testing and inspection, specifically, eddy current testing and magnetic particle testing. Feel free to let us know if you have any specific requirements.
Still need convincing? Let’s look at some projects we’ve been involved in.
Northern Line
The Northern Line extension saw Kennington Station, Nine Elms and Battersea connected together via new twin-bore 3km rail tunnels and stations.
Elite Coatings International Limited were instructed to apply specialist protective coatings onto various assets inside the new stations, the majority of which were intended to help prevent the spread of flame or toxic fumes in the event of a fire.
Crossrail
We were recently instructed to repair various specialist doorsets situated within a tunnel underneath the River Thames. Our team of specialist operators over a period of approximately six weeks deployed into very difficult conditions, whereby they succesfully removed all traces of corrosion before applying a new, water based coating system.
National Highways
Our Protective Coating inspectors have recently been examining the coating systems on various assets on our highways network. Deployed for two weeks, our people have been inspecting large, heavy and often cumbersome structures for signs of damage and degradation, so that plans can be implemented to ensure their timely repair to prevent corrosion.
High Speed 2
Dave Lees, our Head of Business Operations, met recently with Mark Thurston, CEO of High Speed 2, to discuss how Elite Coatings International Limited can support the most important economical and social regeneration project in decades, notwithstanding that it is also currently the largest infrastructure project in Europe.
